A Look Forward
This is it, the final day of the year. It's been a good year. Every year can be a good year when you look forward with a new found curiosity and staying true to yourself. Avoiding the noise around you and creating challenges also makes for a great year. A toast to 2018 and a bigger toast to 2019. Stay Creative. Vancouver, British Columbia.

Almost Made It
Weird animation I drew. The result of too much time on your hands. I sped up the animation for better movement.

Still Drawing
Well here we are with December coming to a close. I usually don't post in December as I'm on a much needed holiday. In late August I made it a goal to draw every single day until December 31. I have kept that goal even when I don't post. Whether it is on my sketchbook or on my ipad, I have not missed a day of drawing. Here are some recent December drawings.

30 Day Comics
Before the month started, I had read a blog entry about challenging yourself to draw a comic story every day for 30 days. I have been drawing daily for a good while now, but haven't done comics in a bit, so I thought this would be a great challenge for me. I started out not caring about the drawing but more just getting a story out. As the days progressed I started caring about the art, but still focused on the story. Here is the daily collection so far.
Drawn on my sketchbook except for Day one which was drawn on my ipad..

November Noir
The days are getting darker and the fog returns. A good time to sit down with a cup of coffee and take the monthly inventory of what went right and what went wrong. Welcome to November.
Drawn on my sketchbook straight in ink using a Pentel Brush pen and then finished digitally.

illustration titled: Noir November.
